Tahiri Veila (Solo)
I think my heart is going to cartwheel out of my chest. Anakin is about to do his vows.
"Tahiri Veila," he began. "When I first met you, my first impression was that you had been drugged; you talked so much," Everyone who had known me then laughed loudly. "Of course, growing up, being your best friend definately had its many advantages and adventures. But that whole while, I realize, I had been bringing you closer and closer to my heart to where, on Yag Dhu'l, I came to the realization that I wanted you. I liked you ... a lot.
"Of course, not everything unstable lasts for long, and soon afterwards I nearly met my demise at Myrkr," I winced upon thinking of that aweful time. "But ... perhaps it was for the better. For while I was, er, undergoing my transformation, I felt my feeling for you deepen and 'like' changed to 'love'. Then I finally came back, and there you were: gazing out at the sunset, deep in thought. Every step I ran up on my way to meet you, all one hundred and twenty four, my heart beat that same number every stride. Then there you were..." I felt Anakin's gaze shift, and I could tell he was thinking back. "I remember my first thought upon seeing you again ... 'an angel'.
"Tahiri then..., and I suspect even now, you doubted my love, possibly suspecting it to be mis-guided. But I tell you the truth, I've never been so certain or wanted to do something more intensely than I do now. I want to always be there for you, and I plan to be. I want to always have you beside me, to guide me, to help me through hard times, just as I will for you. I'm in love with you, Angel. I always will be." Everyone sighed and I blinked back tears of joy/relief.
"Anakin Solo," I began. "When I first met you, I couldn't help but wonder why you didn't talk as much. I was in awe of the fact that - more often than not - someone actually responded when you said something. We went through all those trials and triumphs together, and soon enough, I couldn't imagine my life without my best friend. Then: Yag Dhu'l. You surprised me - or rather shut me up - with our first kiss," Everyone laughed simultaneously. "Of course, my happiness didn't last forever as you and I were seperated for ten years," Everyone seemed to sadden in rememberance of that aweful time. "But then, youcame back. When you called my name, my body erupted in goosebumps and my mind tried to convince me that it wasn't real. I guess I didn't want to wake up and have my heart broken.
"But the minute you touched me, I knew I wasn't dreaming. Partly because I still remembered your presence, and how numbing it was. I felt unsure of your love. I had accoustomed myself myself to live without you, and even though it was painful each and every day, I got through it. So when you came back, my mind wanted nothing more than to banish you, to keep my heart from being broken. I realize that that was why I doubted. But now ... I have decided to listen to my heart, which loves you deeply," Anakin smiled. "Yes, I love you, Anakin. And there is nothing else I'd rather be doing, nowhere else I'd rather be, than here with you. You've given me another reason to live and breathe, you've become my everything. All those doubts are gone now, Annie. You've replaced them," I lowered my voice to a whisper. "Thank you for loving me. Thank you for everything."

"Do you, Tahiri Veila, take Anakin Solo as your lawfully wedded husband?"
"I do," Tahiri's gaze didn't leave the spot where the Force was telling her Anakin's gaze would've met hers had she not been blind.
"Do you, Anakin Solo, take Tahiri Veila as your lawfully wedded wide?"
"I do."
"Then by the power bested in me by the Force, I pronouce this loving couple husband and wife," Luke winked at Anakin. "You may kiss the bride gently."
Anakin caressed Tahiri's left cheek with his right hand and moved slowly towards her, allowing her time to run away, slap him, do pretty much anything ... she only eased herself into his arms and pressed her lips to his. He pressed his forehead to hers and returned the kiss with equal passion.
Anakin Solo
We ended the kiss reluctantly and opened our eyes. The first thing I saw were the wonderous emerald spheres of Tahiri's peircing gaze. Her green eyes sparkled, and I knew immediately that she had regained her sight.
Tahiri Veila Solo
I opened my eyes, and to my surprise, Anakin's gorgeous ice blue eyes were staring back at me. The love and warmth behind them assured me of his deep love for me, and reminded me of my unconditional love for him as well.
"I love you, baby," He whispered. I could only smile and nod in my happiness. And in that moment, I was completely content.
Tahiri emerged form the 'fresher clothed in an attractive nightgown. "Ready to watch The Wraith of the Opera?" She asked. Anakin smiled and keyed the holovid, trying to avert his gaze from his new wife's curvy figure. "It's okay, you can say it, 'You look gorgeous, Tahiri'." She teased.
"You look gorgeous, Tahiri," Anakin stated, without a hint of a teasing tone. Tahiri blushed and sat down next to her husband. My husband[/color, she thought. Wow. "My wife," he nuzzled her neck. "Wow."
"Stay outta my mind, Solo," She retorted playfully.
"Impossible, Veila. We're now one with eachother. I can sense your emotions more easily than anyone else's," Anakin closed his eyes and kissed Tahiri's cheek lingeringly. She snuggled up against and he pressed the 'play' button.
"...The Wraith of the Opera..."
Tahiri sighed. I love this holovid.
More than me?
I don't love anything more than you.
Prove it.
How?
Kiss me.
Oh?
...please...
Anything else?
Listen...
To what?
Suddenly a wave of emotion hit Tahiri. The emotions were Anakin's. All his feelings; love, passion, tenderness, kindness, admiration, patience, anger (towards the dark voice), frustration, impatience, worry, sadness, doubt ... formed two words in Tahiri's mind. ...to me.
Anakin kissed her neck, cheek, nose and forehead tenderly. Tahiri met his gaze lovingly. "Thank you for loving me, Anakin."
"Thank you for accepting me, Angel. Or should I call you Mrs. Solo, now?" He asked with a smile. Tahiri shook her head.
"Call me 'Angel' when you're in any mood, 'Princess' for when you're having one of those days when you can't help but treat me like one, and 'Mrs. Solo' when there's no possible way you could be any happier," Tahiri decided.
Anakin took her hand and guided her to their bed. "And how are you tonight, Mrs. Solo?" He wrapped his arms around her waist and kissed her warmly. She giggled into his lips and released herself from her husband's grasp, plopping down on their bed. Anakin smiled and joined his wife.
