Leia cried out in pain. The twins were on their way, and apparently they were fighting over who would be the firstborn. This made it very hard on the mother, who was ALREADY in pain. “Glad you could be here, Kyp,” Han stated dryly, holding his wife’s hand. The fourteen year old youth, who was raised on Kessel, smiled sarcastically at his older friend. “No problem, Han,” Kyp wanted to puke. He’d seen less blood in battle simulators. Battle simulators LOVED to gush blood from the imaginary adversary’s body. The mechanical doctor moved forward, oohing in a different dialect. The first baby was emerging. “It’s a baby girl,” the doctor droned, handing the girl to Han, the proud father. Han smiled down at his daughter, who had surprisingly stopped her wailing. “Hello, Jaina Solo.” Kyp smiled. The infant was so cute. Leia let out another cry. “Oww!” “Oh. Kyp, could you hold Jaina?” Han asked. “Sure,” Kyp took the baby. He looked down into her little face. He was surprised to see her wide, hazel eyes gazing up at him in amazement. All of a sudden, Jaina broke into a grin and giggled. “I’m in love,” Kyp joked, laughing. He smiled back, kissing Jaina’s little forehead. “It’s a baby boy,” the doctor announced. Leia sighed in relief and collapsed into a deep sleep. Han took his infant son in his arms with pride. “Jacen Solo,” Han grinned. Jacen was staring at his twin. Kyp walked over and held Jaina near her brother. They both grinned a broad toothless smile. Kyp laughed. “I have a feeling that you’re going to have your hands full when they’re toddlers.” Han only smiled and put Jacen in his crib. “Let’s put Jaina in her crib.” Kyp looked up. “Could I hold Jaya a little longer?” Han smiled. “Jaya?” “Yeah, it’s a nickname.” “I like it. Yeah, you can hold her carefully. I’m going to try to wake Leia.” Kyp looked down at Jaina. “I don’t know what it is,” he whispered to her. “But I have a feeling that you’re going to change my life in a big way. How – who knows? We’ll see.” He smiled fondly at her.

Chapter 2
- Two Years Later -Kyp winced as the door slammed shut. Han hadn’t even told him when to put the twins to bed. Jaina took his hand and looked up into his green eyes with the wide, hazel gaze Kyp had come to adore. “Mr. Kyp, where did Mommy and Daddy go?” Kyp put a hand on her head gently. “They went to the doctor because your little brother is being born.” “Daddy wants to call him ‘Han Solo Jr.”,” Jaina frowned. “You don’t like that name?” Kyp asked. Jaina shook her head. “Oh. … Where’s Jacen?” The two year old pointed to the kitchen. Kyp hoisted Jaina up onto his hip. She giggled in delight. They entered the kitchen just in time to witness Jacen, with his arm halfway buried in the cookie jar, stuff two choco’ chip cookies into his mouth. “Jacen!!!” Kyp exclaimed. Jacen’s eyes widened and he darted out of the kitchen, swiftly chased by his babysitter. “You can’t catch me!” Jacen shouted behind him, running into his parents’ room and locking the door. Well, I can’t afford to break down the door… “Jacen, unlock the door!” “No!” “Why?” “’Cuz yer mean!” “Mister Kyp is not mean!” Jaina squealed at her twin. She closed her eyes and focused angrily on her brother. Jacen whimpered on the other side of the door. “Okay! Okay! Jaina, stop!!!” Kyp looked at Jaina in surprise. “What are you doing to him?” “Making his head hurt,” Jaina giggled mischievously. The bedroom door opened, and Jacen stumbled out. “I wanna go to bed now,” he murmured. Kyp picked him up as well and toted the young boy to his bed. “My head hurts.” “Say you’re sorry you called Mr. Kyp mean,” Jaina insisted. “Fine. I’m sorry,” her twin whined. Jaina stopped concentrating. “Go to sleep,” she said persuasively. Kyp felt her use the Force to make her brother fall asleep. He was alarmed. “Where’d you learn that?” “I ‘founded’ out that if I REALLY wanted Jacen to do something – it would happen,” Jaya explained, her hazel eyes wide. “Come on, let’s go play!” Kyp wanted to watch a holovid, but Jaina wanted to play dolls. Kyp was about to insist on the movie when Jaya fixed him with an angelic, hazel stare. “ Pleeeaassseee, Mr. Kyp?” He sighed. “I wish I could resist that look. Fine, I’ll play dolls with you.” Jaina smiled broadly and ran into her room.
Han came home later that night to find Jacen asleep in his bed, but Jaina nowhere in her room. He looked in the living room. Jaina was curled up on Kyp’s broad chest, asleep. Kyp was watching the holovid, absentmindedly stroking Jaina’s dark brown hair. Han smiled.

Chapter 3
- Three Years Later –Jaina Solo, now 5 years of age, laughed as her 3 year old brother – black haired, blue eyed Anakin Solo – accidentally knocked over his tower of impressively stacked holocubes. Nineteen year old Kyp Durron, who was now the regular babysitter, bent sympathetically to aid the youngest Solo in the gathering of the scattered holocubes. Jaina followed Kyp’s example, while her twin sat lazily on the couch, playing with his animals. Anakin looked as if he was about to cry. Jaina hugged her brother. “It’s okay, Anakin. We’ll build a bigger tower! And Mr. Kyp will help us, won’t you, Mr. Kyp?” Kyp nodded. “Yeah, sure.” Anakin cheered up a bit. A few minutes later, the three year old looked up from his tower with a puzzled expression. “What is it, Anakin?” Kyp asked. “Some’ tin’ ‘portant happened,”
Cassa Veila tried to subdue her frantic cries as her baby daughter, Tahiri, emerged from the birth canal. Her husband, Tryst Veila, smiled and took his firstborn daughter into his arms. Cassa Kenobi, daughter of Obi-Wan Kenobi and Siri Tachi, was 18 when she married Tryst Veila, the son of Tyler Veila, a Jedi Knight who survived the Clone Wars. Cassa and Tryst’s baby held great promise. “She shall become a Jedi.” - Three Years Later –Twenty-two year old, Jedi Master Kyp Durron, looked down at 8 year old Jaina Solo’s tears with a saddened expression. “Are you sure you have to go, Mr. Kyp?” Kyp nodded. “I can’t stand Luke Skywalker. It was either he would go, or I would go. Apparently – I go.” “But, you’ll come back, right?” Jaina’s bottom lip quivered and her hazel eyes grew wide. “Yes, for you,” Kyp hugged her. “When I come back, you’ll probably be a Knight yourself.” He grinned proudly. Jaina sighed. “Goodbye, Mr. Kyp.” “Call me Kyp, Jaya. You’re making me feel old.” Jaina nodded. “Okay,” she looked up. “You’ve been the bestest best friend ever.” She blurted. Kyp almost choked with sudden emotion. “You’re my best friend, too.” Imagine, a 22 year old’s best friend is a friend’s eight year old daughter. Jaina grinned up at him. “Come home soon.” He hugged her again. “I will.”
Tryst was sparring Sliven. Suddenly, he and his family were being attacked. Tahiri screamed and cried. Tryst fell dead; Cassa fell dead. Sliven let out a groan of remorse. His clan apparently thought they had saved him. Sliven took the little blonde haired, green eyes human to raise, Against the wishes of some of the Sand People. Tahiri Veila is now a Tusken Raider.

Chapter 4
- 10 Years Later –Kyp fiddled with his thumbs idly. “Mr. Durron!” He looked up. “Are you even paying attention?” “No, not quite. But my left thumb has won four rounds,” Kyp smiled defiantly. The jailer frowned. “Mr. Durron, you are but three weeks away from trial. Would you rather stay here, or go free?” “What is that, a trick question?” 32 year old Kyp Durron sighed. “You either stay here for life (under certain circumstances) or you leave and never come back. We would prefer the later,” “Look, I only wrecked the gymnasium-“ “And the Towers of Prosperity! AND the Fountain of Peace!” “Ahhh … they can be repaired-“ “You BLEW them UP!” “Oh … yeah,” Kyp restrained a laugh and looked down. The man sighed. “You have refused to cooperate, and I am forced to do something I wished to have never had to do. You have refused to cooperate under any and all circumstances we provided for your escape, therefore, this council – regrettably – condemns you to death without a trial.” “What!?” Kyp stood up indignantly. “We are bent on maintaining a peaceful planet, Mr. Durron. You shall be made an example.” “Oh, and that would be ‘Behave, or else’?” “Precisely.”
“I know you still consider me a child, Ani. There’s no sense in hiding it,” Tahiri mourned. She and her best friend were trapped in a Yuuzhan Vong locker. Tahiri had been found on Tatooine by Jedi Masters Luke Skywalker and Tionne Solustar when Tahiri was only nine. She and Anakin had met at the Jedi Temple on Yavin 4, and had been best friends ever since. Now, Anakin felt something more for this woman beside him. “Oh, I’m sorry I’m complaining so much. I’ll just be quiet…” “No, don’t,” Anakin stated, inching closer. “The sound of your voice is soothing, even if you are in turmoil,” He kissed her lips softly. She gasped and pulled back. Tahiri laughed a little. Anakin grinned and kissed her again. This time, Tahiri kissed him back tenderly. Anakin slipped his arms around her waist gently and pulled her closer. He deepened the kiss passionately, and stroked her blonde hair lovingly. I guess I’d better stop before we get carried away… Anakin pulled back reluctantly, but smiling broadly. “Hey, beautiful.” She giggled. “You sure do know how to make a girl happy.” Anakin smiled and kissed her cheek. “At least one girl.”
“Kyp Durron is hereby charged with destruction of symbolic structures of significance, and the murder of innocent men,” You liar. Those men attacked me. “For which the punishment is also death. Now, according to the law, if a woman of righteous nature and good marital standings stands up and agrees to take this man as her husband, the sentence will be rejected, and the party guilty of crime will be forces to swear to remain in our lovely city for 5 years.” No one looked willing.

Chapter 5 Eighteen year old, Jaina Solo was strolling the streets of Cyprus with her boyfriend when she heard a commotion. “What is that?” “Looks like they’re executing someone,” her boyfriend, Jagged Fel, stated. “C’mon, let’s go watch,” Jaina grabbed his hand and began to run. They got there just in time to hear the charges. It seemed to Jaina that the world stopped spinning and all the occupants of it disappeared, except her and the accused. She looked into his eyes and saw only innocence. Jaina gasped and blinked. Everyone returned, and the world started to spin again. “They’re going to kill an innocent man!” “Um, hon, that dude doesn’t sound innocent,” Jag replied. “He was framed. I know it,” Jaina marched forward, stretching out the Force to the innocent man to try to gain information on what had really happened. He offered it to her freely. The innocent man turned around in surprise. “What do you mean by ‘the cause is falling through the cracks’?”
A tall, strong man who Jaina knew by the innocent man’s thoughts to be named Kurt responded, “We quit.”
The innocent man erected to his full height. “You swore an oath! To protect this planet from evils-“
“Oaths mean nothing to me, now.”
“Then Cyrus will fall! Has the government not paid you well enough!?”
Kurt grinned slightly. “The Yuuzhan Vong pay better.”
The innocent man turned to all the others. They were nodding and heading towards him menacingly. The innocent man took off running in the opposite direction. “You’ve brought this upon yourself!” The innocent man was overtaken at the gymnasium. He had thrown a thermal detonator to escape. Three men out of 12 had been killed, and half of the gymnasium was destroyed along with the Fountain of Peace.
The innocent man quickly boarded his vessel and armed his guns. The remaining 9 men all turned pale and began to retreat. The innocent man shot at the Towers of Prosperity, and the rubble crushed all of his attackers.“Let this man free!” Jaina ordered. The executioner ignored her declaration. “Do you take this man as your husband, miss?” “What? No! B-but this man is innocent, I can assure you. He was framed!” The executioner looked confused. “He has been sentenced. The only way to save him is to agree to marry him.” The ‘guilty’ man was mouthing something at her … NOThat only made Jaina want to argue with the executioner more. “Just let this man go!” Jag stepped forward. “Honey, what are you doing?” “Are you this woman’s husband?” “No, I’m her boyfriend.” Jaina turned to Jag. “What do I do? They won’t let him go.” “Just do what you think is right,” Jag sighed. Jaina wanted to cry. Why do I want to protect this man’s life so much? She turned to the executioner. “Yes, I will marry him.” What have I done!?! She turned to Jag. He was crying. She hugged him. “I’m so sorry, Jag. I don’t know why, but I have to save this man’s life.” “I love you, Jaina,” Jag whispered. “I … I love you, too,” Jaina muttered. “I’m so sorry.” A man took Jaina’s elbow and led her away. The accused man was led into the courthouse. Jaina joined them. In the matter of minutes, Jaina’s life had been changed forever.
She allowed her new husband to move in with her, since he had no home. He probably blew that up, too. This is insane! I don’t even know his name. I don’t even know my new last name! As soon as they were alone, her husband exploded. “Why did you do that!? I told you not to! I could have saved you from this!” Jaina’s lower lip trembled. “I don’t know why. I mean, I’m sorry. I guess you have a girlfriend, and believe me, I know what it feels like-“ “No, it’s not that. You look so young. I didn’t want you to do something like this to save an innocent man from death.” “Oh, so you are innocent?” “I thought you knew. I sensed you searching my mind for answers,” “That I did. Are you Force Sensitive?” “Yes,” the man shifted. “I don’t wish to be a burden, but may I use your ‘fresher … and maybe a razor?” “Sure. The ‘fresher is upstairs, and you can just ask the computer for a razor. You look like you haven’t shaved in ages,” Jaina teased, trying to lighten the mood. Her husband smiled. “Thank you, miss.” Miss. That bugged Jaina the whole time her new husband was in the shower. He didn’t even know her name. She didn’t even know HIS name. When he came downstairs, Jaina’s jaw dropped. He looked much younger, and strangely … familiar. “My name is Jaina,” she said, getting to the point. This time, his jaw dropped. “What?” “J-Jaina Solo?” He gulped. “Yes,” she replied, amused. “Would you mind telling me my new husband’s name, and perhaps my new last name?” “U-Uhhh,” he took a deep breath. “My name is Kyp.” “Nice to meet you,” Jaina stated. Apparently, she didn’t recognize his name. “What’s your last name?” “Durron,” Kyp squeaked. Jaina’s jaw dropped again. “So, I guess your new name is Jaina Solo Durron.”

PS: I know it's weird of men to cry, but I wanted to put it in there - to make Jag seem more human.
"I married my old babysitter," Jaina gasped. She's said it to herself many times before, not wanting to believe it. She and Kyp had been married for a month now. They had barely said anything to each other. They were still getting over the shock. Jag had commed earlier that day. They had both cried. Kyp entered the house noisely. "Hey, Jaina." "How was work?" "Okay," Kyp started to go upstairs for a shower as he always did. Jaina waited until she heard the water stop running. She knocked on his door. "Kyp?" He opened his door, dressed only in boxers. "Yes?" Jaina tried to ignore his tan chest - an impossible task. "Um ... I ... I want to start sparring again, and I was wondering if you would consider ... becoming my master." Her gaze seemed glued to the floor. The carpet's fascinating, she told herself dryly. "Wouldn't it seem a bit strange for a, ex-Jedi Knight to teach his wife, who is at the same level as he was when he escaped the deranged ways of Skywalker?" Kyp said it in such a way that made Jaina want to run and hide her eyes to keep from wanting to cry. "I'm sorry ... forget it," she looked down and stalked into her room. I only wanted to get to know you better!"Jaina! Open the door!" Kyp ordered. She said and did nothing. "Jaina, I am your husband! Don't make me break this door down!" She opened it, and Kyp fell in. She stood up. "What's wrong, Jaya?" He had used her childhood nickname. He still thought her a child! "What's wrong!? I just wanted more time with you - to get to know you! You're always avoiding me, and if you're not 'working', you're 'busy'! I just ... I don't even know why I saved you. I love Jag!" Kyp raised his arm, and Jaina flinched. He put it down immediately. "You thought I was going to hit you!" He sounded hurt. "No, I didn't," Jaina walked to her dresser. "Don't be stupid." Kyp walked over to her and tilted her chin towards him gently. "I would never, ever hit you, Jaya. Please, know that. And, no, I'm not mad at you. I will make time for you, I promise," he smiled. "As for your love for Jag, I can't help you there. I can only say I'm sorry." Jaina nodded. "I'm sorry, too." Kyp hugged her, and her heart tingled. How come I like his touch? He pulled back. "Maybe you'll learn to love this old man you've married." Jaina laughed. "You're only thirty-two, Kyp. Yeah, maybe you have a chance. We'll see." Kyp smiled. "You look beautiful, Mrs. Durron." "Oh, now you're just sucking up," she laughed, blushing. "No, I mean it. You're very beautiful, Jaya. I'm sorry I haven't told you before." Jaina smiled fondly at her husband. I'm not supposed to be falling for him this fast! But how come I love being called 'Mrs. Durron'?

Anakin was furious at the news Jagged Fel had delivered.
His beloved older sister had basically been forced into marriage. To a man who she didn't even know! To make matters worse, this man was a criminal.
"Anakin, you can't tell anyone, yet," Jag had stated. "Especially Han."
"Why!?! My father could make this alright! He could put Jaina back in your arms! He would kill the man who took her from you! Isn't that what you want?"
"No," Jag stated evenly. "I want Jaina back very much, but I won't allow this man to die. He means something to her. Why - I don't know."
Anakin sighed. "Okay, fine. But the minute I find out she's unhappy, I'm going after her."
"Can't argue with you there."
- 2 Months After Marriage -
Jaina was bored. She wanted to go out and keep fighting in the war! She wanted to crush the Yuuzhan Vong, who had almost killed her little brother at the planet named Myrkr. Of course, since Kyp had been forced to swear to stay in the city for 5 years. She was stuck with him. Here. Alone.
Well, not alone. Kyp was there at night. He made sure he spent every spare second with his new wife, even though his job took up most of his time. The thought made Jaina smile. Maybe one day, she and Kyp would grow to love each other - as she had loved Jag.
Jaina had dug around her attic, taking odds and ends and melding them together. By the end of her unscheduled day, she had built a killing machine worthy of sparring a Jedi. She had just finished it when Kyp came home.
"What is THAT!?"
"It's my sparring adversary," Jaina stated, wiping her hands on her hand towel. Kyp circled the mechanical contraption warily.
"It looks dangerous," he stated, sitting down on the couch.
"Nonsense," Jaina grinned and sat down beside him. "It's a bit mischevious, but it's friendly. I named him Sparky."
"I wouldn't feel good leaving you home with Sparky," Kyp said, turning to his wife. "It might hurt you." His eyes showed he was serious.
Desperate for changing, Starving for truth, Closer to where I started - Chasing after you.
Jaina smiled, blushing a little. "Nonsense," she said, again.
Kyp took her hand. "Jaina?"
"Yes?" She looked towards him, very aware of the soft warmth of his palm against hers. He turned his whole body towards hers.
"Do you think there's any hope?"
Jaina gave him a look that conveyed that she didn't understand.
"Do you think there's any hope that ... that you'll grow to love me?"
Jaina was struck speechless. "Uhh ... w-why do you ask?"
Kyp bit his lip and turned away. "Just wondering."
I'm falling even more in love with you! Letting go of all I've held onto. I'm standing here until you make me move, I'm hanging by a moment here with you.
The song is "Hanging by a Moment" by Lifehouse.

LOL! When you say Jaina and Sparky it gives me the impression that she's hooked up with a battle/sparring droid.
