Save Us by Courtney
When all is stripped away, I cannot pretend to be okay. I wish You'd go away, And leave me with my misery.
Life has no point, Nothing much to live for. You are born to die, And you die so others might live.
The world seems so dark, And not much stands apart. There is no consolation For this great desperation. All this pain goes deeper than one can strain.
No one cares about who stays, and who goes; Who lives, and who dies; Who fights, and who remains on the sidelines.
Our conscience is our only angel, Surrounded by innumerable demons. The present is dark; the future is more so. The height of our agony is the depth of our despair. We are all striving for an unreachable peace.
Who can save us from this heck, this darkness, this torment?
ROMANS 8:38-39

YAY AWESOME POEM!!! ;D
It's always great to see a poem written religiously. It's common that they bring the inspiration commonly needed when one may be weak with faith just as yours brings us to His spoken word through your creative and artistic writing.
*applause*
