Okay, what the heck is up with homework? That's the subject of today's rant.
Homework. Why homework? When you get a job, you work, what, eight hours? Then you come home and relax. When you're a slave to school life, you go to school for six hours because the government wants to "preserve your childhood," and then you spend two hours doing homework. How is that any different than working? You still spend the same eight hours doing other things than being a kid.
Yeah, I understand that we need time to re-inforce what we learned in school that day, but why can't they just tack some extra hours on to our school day where we do what we would have had to do for homework? I'd rather do that than do it at home.
When I get home, I want to relax! If our parents can come home and relax, why can't we? That's what home is for! It's for relaxing! Not for working a whole lot more! Urgh! Homework needs to die!
