Why Anakin!?! WHY??? When you become the very thing you were afraid of, I guess you cause things to happen like that, too.
I think that it was interesting that Luke was older than Leia. I guess I always thought that Leia would have been older. Leia just acts older (up until ESB). And to all you people out there who are thinking that Leia had to have been born first because she remembers Padme, and Luke doesn't: If you look closely, you can see Padme make a brief force connection with Leia. Also, it may have had something to do with the mother/daughter thing. Mothers and daughters always seem to connect better (at least in movies) than mothers and sons do.
Did any of you guys see the Millenium Falcon? After Anakin and Obi-Wan land the burning ship, and they take the shuttle back to that building, sometime in that scene (I forget exactly where), you can see the Millenium Falcon land in the lower corner.
Also, did anyone else notice that in the third battle scene, after Anakin and Obi-Wan rescue Palpatine and are captured and taken to General Grievous, when Anakin escapes his hand ties, and begins the battle (actually through that whole scene), there's no music whatsoever? I was sitting there waiting for the traditional hero fanfare to begin playing, but nothing ever did!

You are an observant person, Leia! I've only seen it 2 times, and both of the times my friends were poking me and whispering so I couldn't be very attentive. ~admin~

Hey, leia, do u want me to add your icon to the avater list so that it will be more clear?

Sure, add my icon!
I'm actually not THAT observant. I'd have to see ROTS about two or three more times before I start looking for extras. The two times I've seen it, I was paying attention to plot, and character interaction. I do notice things about the original trilogy, though. I've seen those too many times to count.
My brother spotted the Millenium Falcon, and I got the Padme/Leia force connection info from supershadow.com. It's actually a pretty cool site. They have George Lucas answer fan questions. It's pretty informative. But Lucas sounds a little conceited and power hungry in some of his answers (no offense, GL).
My friends poke me a lot in movies, too! But when we go see Star Wars movies (unless we're watching things I've already seen before), I let them know that unless they see something really important, they HAVE to shut up! I just couldn't bear to go see SW without actually SEEing it, ya know?

Def.! The only problem was if I told my crush to shut up he probably wouldn't like me. ;D

;D My crush likes SW just as much as I do. So he shuts up automatically!
Oh the benefits of loving a guy who likes Star Wars...

Lol! I don't think I could deal with marrying a guy who DIDN'T like Star Wars. As my friend, Joylyn, once said about me, "Destiny, you're so much of a Star Wars fanatic, that when you work out, your sweat evaporates and says 'Star Wars' above your head." I laughed so hard...
You know...I think it'd be cool to walk back down the aisle to The Throne Room . You know...that tune that plays at the end of ANH when Luke, Han, and Chewie receive their medals. I think that's an awesome tune. In fact...forget ALL traditional wedding music. I'm goin' Star Wars all the way, man!

*laughs* When I walk down the aisle, my friend, genny, said that she would switch the traditional weddind music to the Darth Vader theme behind my back. I laughed SO hard, she says she's having some Indy Jones/POTC/SW all in one.

Umm...do you mean POTC as in Passion of the Christ, or Pirates of the Carribean? 'Cause they both have the same initials.

Oh. Okay. That has some kick butt music. In band, we played Pirates of the Carribean music, and it was so good, we got a standing ovation. We were so proud of ourselves...

Post by JediLeia on Oct 26, 2005 19:20:07 GMT -5
Nope! All they have is the original pirates in there. You know, the ones that were in the ride before the movie. They definitely need at least a couple of the movie guys in there. Yup. That's gotta change...

Maybe they'd let you in if you disguised yourself as Natalie Portman! Then you could get Hayden Christiansen to pose the same day in the Star Tours ride!

I'm watching ROTS right now, and it's at the part where Anakin is thinking about the vision and Padme and they're both looking at eachother from her home (Padme) and the Temple (Anakin). SO SAD!

Awww! I watched it earlier today, too! I like the part where Anakin is holding Padme, right after she says the line about, "Hold me, Anakin. Like you did by the lake on Naboo. When there was nothing but our love. No politics, no plotting, no war." (Not sure if that's exact). The way he gathers her in his arms. They look so peaceful. I wanna do that someday. Of course, without my husband killing me and turning to the dark side.

Oooh. Sorry that didn't work out. But I'm glad you dumped him and not the other way around! You'll find someone else. As Yoda would say, "No, there is another."
