THE OUTCOME[/color]
Chak whistled and stormtroopers stepped from the density. Each jedi stepped in front of a stormtrooper. "Now!" Jaina yelled. The Jedi ducked and all of the stormtroopers shot once. Seeing that had little affect, the Jedi rose quickly and deflected the shots back ay Exar Kun. Boba Fett and his daughter then threw their Thermal Detonators and fired their blasters once. Jacen and Tenel Ka deflected the shots back to the Sith. Then, Mirax, Corran, Jaina, Zekk and Lola Fel advanced; lightsabers extended.
Luke helped Anakin to his feet. "Are you okay?" Anakin nodded.
"Uncle, I'm sorry. I-I just had that vision ... a-and I had to save her. I can't live without her ... I ... Exar tricked me so easily-"
"-I forgive you, Anakin. But there are others who need an apology," Luke answered kindly.
"Aunt Mara and ... Tahiri! Is she alright?!" Anakin exclaimed. Luke shook his head.
"Darth Assalis choked her. She is barely alive, giving birth to the twins right now," Anakin's eyes filled with tears. "I don't know how she'll make out."
"I-I choked her? My anger controlled me enough to.." He broke off. "Where is she?"
"At the temple,"
Anakin took off in the direction of the Jedi Temple.

“Mom?” Ben asked. “What’s that red, flashing light mean?” Mara ran over.
“Something’s seriously wrong!” She went back to Tahiri’s bedside. “Tahiri? Tahiri! Come on, girl, gimme a sign,” Tahiri groaned. “Hang in there, okay?”
“There is some good in him, isn’t there?” Tahiri asked.
“Yes, of course,” Mara assured her. “Even a Sith Lord like Exar Kun-“
“-Anakin. There’s still good in Anakin,” Mara slipped a rebreather over Tahiri’s head and over her mouth.
“Oh, yes! Tahiri, he … uh ….”
“Tahiri!” Anakin raced into the room. “Oh, baby, I’m so sorry!” He hurried to her bedside and held her to him tightly. He touched his lips to her neck. Tears rolled down his cheeks and his voice broke as he spoke. “D-did I hurt y-you? P-please forgive me, I’m so sorry…” She lifted a weak hand and wiped his tears away. “I love you.”
“I forgive you, Dummy,” she whispered. He removed the rebreather and pressed his lips to hers.
“Hehe, oh look, You’re gaining strength again, Tahiri,” Mara rolled her eyes and plopped down on a chair. “Why didn’t I think of that.”
Tahiri groaned into Anakin’s lips as another contraction came. “You get some rest, okay?” Anakin told her. “I’ll be right here,” He turned to Mara. “Please forgive me, Aunt Mara, I …” He sighed. “I’m so sorry.” She hugged her nephew.
“Forgiven and forgotten,” She assured him. Ben came up to his cousin.
“So, you’re not a Sith anymore?” The kid asked hopefully. Anakin smiled and ruffled Ben’s red hair.
“Nope, I’m not. Please forgive me for scaring you…” Ben grinned and nodded. “Thanks, buddy.”
A Couple of Hours Later
Cighal came out of the emergency ward, grinning (as Calamarian’s do) widely. “The birth was a success. You are now a father, Anakin Solo,” Anakin returned her smile with one of his own. “Tahiri says she is ready to see you.” Han patted his son’s leg proudly. The battle against Exar Kun had left everyone with a few bruises, but luckily, nothing fatal… save Exar Kun. Kyp Durron’s and Luke Skywalker’s experience helped win the Battle of New Beginnings, as it is now called.
Anakin entered the room slowly, surveying the scene. Tahiri, still breathtakingly beautiful, was lying on the hospital bed, her back supported by a mountain of pillows. Her deep green eyes were sparkling with delight as she held her new children in her arms. Her pale blond hair was dangling in sweaty curls, and tears of joy were making there way down her cheeks. Anakin walked to the bedside.
“Hey,” he stated uncomfortably.
“Ani! Come look at our children…” she trailed off when she noticed his tears. “Ani?” He tried to smile and sat down in a nearby chair. She didn’t quite know what to do. “Anakin, are you alright?” He nodded. “What’s the matter?”
He looked up at her and smiled fondly. “Everything I’ve done … all those things … Myrkr, even the Dark Side … they were all for you. I have become over-protective of you. So much, that is became selfish. I almost killed you and the twins; I almost became the second Darth Vader; I could have killed Mara … all because of my selfishness,” Anakin walked back to her bedside and took her hand. “I could never love you even more or less than I do now, Angel I could never love the twins more or less than I do now,” He picked Sky up and tweaked her nose. “But, Tahiri, after all that I’ve done, I don’t think you’ll ever be able to truly forgive me. I don’t think anyone will ever be able to truly forgive me or trust me again. Please, tell me what you honestly feel. I need to know…”
Tahiri force-retrieved Sky from Anakin’s arms and put the twins in their beds, then she motioned for him to come to her. She wrapped her arms around him and held him to her. “I love you, Heroboy, more than you can ever know. When I forgave you, I meant it. You’re my husband, and I could never not love, not trust or not forgiveyou,” She pulled back and stroked his cheek. He kissed her palm tenderly. “Anakin, my love for you is indescribable. It is eternal and you will always have it. Only you. My love will never decrease, only increase, no matter what you do. Never doubt that.” He sighed and tears of relief trickled down his cheeks and onto Tahiri’s neck. He kissed her neck, cheek and nose, and when his lips found hers, a tingle ran down her spine. Anakin felt it and wrapped his arms tightly around her waist.
“Thank you, baby,” He whispered.
Walk gave a loud wail.
“Speaking of babies, looks like one of ours needs his first diaper change … Anakin…” Tahiri teased. Anakin just groaned.
