Waiiiiiiiiiting.... Krista invited us to her private quarters for dinner. I came to the door of this...this... this... PALACE and asked the guards which floor was Krista Fett's private quarters, and he said the whole BUILDING was her's and asked us if we were her dinner guests. We said we were and Boba Fett himself escorted us to her dining room. Turns out she's filthy rich. Krista walked into the room wearing a spotless white evening gown. The dress wasn't extremely low-cut, but all the guys perked up. The dress hugged her figure and split open on both sides below the thighes. Krista looked good, dang it! "Welcome," Her escort was practically drooling on her plate. "Allow me to introduce my charming escort, Shawn. Shawn, these are my Jedi collegues, Jacen and Queen Mother Tenel Ka Djo Chu'ume Solo, Jaina Solo who is engaged to Zekk of Ennth. Also Kyp and Danni Quee Durron," A delicately dressed woman rushed into the room. "Ah, Hello, mandie. Everyone, this is my dressing aid, Mandie Thnas." The woman curtsied. "Mistress Fett, please forgive my intrusion, but I wanted to ask how your dress was faring." I sensed a flicker in Krista's emotions. "It's too good to be true, Mandie. Lovely," She smiled gracefully and the outfitter left the room. "Where should we begin?" Krista asked us. "How about you connections with Alema Rar." Jacen suggested. Krista nodded. "We used to be good friends, we did everything together, even traded secrets about how to kidnapp a Hutt without waking it. Daddy would have to tell us to stop talking about piloting manuevers and go to sleep when we would have sleepovers. But then she went to the Jedi Academy...we've been worst enemies ever since she returned," "-But you said Alema went easy on you." Jacen stated. "She only went easy on me because she knew that I was the only one who knows how to stop her, so she had to make me happy." Krista snapped angrily. "Can you find a way to defeat her?" I asked calmly. She looked over to me. "Yes," she responded, her cool returning. "I can." Jaina Solo ------------------------------------ "Tionne, thank you so much for replacing Tahiri. I'm sure she feels much better." I said, taking Veila from her. Tionne's mother-of-pearl eyes were bloodshot. "She almost got inside the aging unit twice," She said softly. "I had to watch her every move after that." She shuffled away to her oom. I looked down at Veila. "Have you been causing Miss Tionna trouble?" I asked sternly. She shook her head. "You promise you'll be good for me?" "Wes, Daddy." She nodded her head. "Good girl," I set her down, not bothering to correct her mistake. "Anakin to Tahiri: Where are you?" It took a few minutes for her to respond. "In my room, sleeping. You went two hours over your shift, I couldn't keep my eyes open anymore." She grumbled. "Tionne looked stressed when she left." I heard her smirk. "What would I have given to see THAT?" She yawned into the mike. "Hang tight, I can sleep on the couch." "Oh, realllly?" "Dibs." Dang, she got me. "Kriiiiiiiifffffff...." I drawled. Tahiri rushed in and plopped down on the couch, she had even brought her own blanket. "Check the podracing channel, they always broadcast live from the race." She said, I tossed her the remote as I changed Veila's diaper for the umpteenth time that day. "Mommy!" Veila began to wail. "Owwie..." I looked down at her little..er...private. "Tahiri, she has a bad rash." Apparently, Tionne was as bad as I was at diaper changing. "Awww...come here, Veila. There, there." Tahiri got up and took her from me. I felt her soothing the pain in the little baby's rash. "Anakin, go get the rash cream, it's on that cabnet over there." Veila's lip puckered. "Huwwy, Daddy, It's a BIG owwie." I smiled. Then frowned. "Tahiri, we're out of rash cream." Tahiri handed me Veila and called a few credits to her hand. "I'll go buy some. Be right back." Whew, Kyp and Danni have a high-needs kid. Anakin Solo ------------------ My past babysitting experience was head-hitting fun. Literally. I was hit on my head UMPTEEN times! So I wrote this little bit, I bet I looked like Tionne when I left.

"This plan is extremely risky! It looks like the plan Anakin came up with at Myrkr, and you know the only element that saved his life was a last-minute healing trance." Jaina announced sternly. I went over to my fiance. "Jaina, we all know how that turned out. But we have to help Krista defeat Alema." I replied, Jaina crossed her arms. "I didn't think Twi'leks has the mental compassity to rule the galaxy." Krista smiled at Jaina's remark. "Well, whatever you're going to do is beyond my concern, I just received news that Alema has launched her decemators." "I have already figured this out," Tenel Ka spoke up. "You have formed a code with your costume designer, and she brought you bad news." Krista looked startled. "How did you know that?" "I am a Jedi Master. And I use a similar code with my handmaidens on Hapes. What are decemators?" Krista thumbed a few keys and a holographic image of a Vong-like weapon appeared. "There isn't really a scientific name for what this creature is, but what it does gave it the abbreviation. Decemators can make its target seem to 'disappear' and create a sheild of astroids and mines around it. It is mostly used by Alema for obtaining the alligence of planets. She would deploy it and then send in an army." Jacen put an arm around his wife's shoulder. "What are the targets?" He asked shakily. Then I understood their concern, and everyone elses. "Dantooine, Corellia, Hapes and Yavin 4." Krista replied. Tenel Ka gasped. "Father, Mother, Lola... they haven't been warned!" Jacen wrapped his arms around his wife and held her there. "Y...Yavin 4, that's where Anakin, Tahiri and Jaina Veila are... not to mention the entire Jedi Academy." Danni paled. Kyp took his wife in his arms. Jaina raised her eyebrows. "Uh... shouldn't we be kickig Yuuzhan Vong butt instead of sniffling in here?" She interupted. Good ole' Jaina. "We're obviously going to need some back up if we intend to save all four planets. However, our primary concerns are for Yavin and Hapes. Need be, we'll drop by Dantooine and Corellia." Shawn got up from his seat. "I'm outta here." Krista didn't look worried. "Alright if we take your ship with us?" Krista asked Jaina. "Aunt Mara's gonna freak, but it's for a good cause," Well THAT'S an understatement. Jaina took my hand. "Zekk and I can take the Shadow as long as Jacen and Tenel Ka can take one of your shuttles to Hapes." "What about us? Danni asked worriedly. "I want to get to Yavin as fast as I possibly can!" "You and Kyp can come with Jaina and I to Yavin 4." I supplied. That left Krista. "Where are you going, Krista?" Kyp spoke my mind. "Yavin 4 first, then Dantooine. I own that planet, I don't wanna seem like a bad dictator." I rolled my eyes. Of course, she owns planets. Boba Fett walked into the room. "Everything is ready, my lady. Time to go." "Great, Daddy. Let's move out!" She called, we all followed her lead, even Jaina. War is on our doorstep...again. ~Zekk Ennth~ -------------------------------------------------------- "Hey, Tahiri! Haven't seen you down here in years!" I turned towards the voice. "Oh, hey! It's good to see you, Miri. Listen, do you by any chance have rask cream available? Anakin and I ran out." Miri's eyes widened. "What the heck we're y'all doing with rash cream? Is something goin' on that I don't know about?" She asked suspiciously, I blushed. "No...no... it's not like that. Ani and I are babysitting for Kyp and Danni Quee Durron, their kid has a rash, and the temple doesn't have any rash cream." Miri nodded in understandment. "Yeah... that hottie Kyp got married!? Daaaang, i'm behind on the gossip, the last thing I heard..." "Miri! Do you or do you not have rash cream!" Miri shrugged apologeticly. "What is it with Jedi and rash cream?" "Huh?" "Well... about 15 minutes ago someone else bought my last bottle," she looked aat her datapad. "-a Jedi." "Anakin Solo?" I asked hopefully. "Nope. Some Twi'lek complaining about some sithspawned rash. Er... Alema Rar. WHOA, she's still at the Adademy? I thought she'd at least be patrolling the border by now..." I SWEAR that Twi'lek is out to get me!!! She alreday has Jacen Solo, why come back for a measly planet? "Uh... know any other shops with rash cream?" She shrugged. "You could try the drug store." She pointed behind me. "Thanks, Miri!" I rushed off, then I spotted herand she sounded drunk. "-Tell yuh whut... takin' 'ver the galazy iz... hard work. Here's to *hic*tory!" Alema taking over the galaxy? Not surprised. "Yavin's gonna get a rude awakenin'." I hurried and bought the rash cream and raced back to Anakin... We had to hide. ~Tahiri Veila~ ******************************************* While I was typing this I misspellled 'my' to 'me' so it looked like Miri was talking pirate lingo, I laughed my head off, shows how giddy I am after swim practice...

My wife navigated the ship perfectly through the Hapes atmosphere. "This is the pilot of Hunted to Landing Base, we are transmitting our codes now." Tenel Ka said into the com unit.
"This is Landing Base to Hunted; Do you realize you are using Princess Tenel Ka Djo Chu'ume's Royal codes?" Tenel Ka smiled.
"This is Princess Tenel Ka Djo Chu'ume Solo." There was a stunned pause.
"Exceuse my impoliteness, you highness. Go right ahead."
I undid my crash webbing as we landed. "Great job, sweetheart."
"It was nothing." She grew quite.
"What?" I aske in worry.
"I have not seen my parents in almost eight years. I am... nervous about how they will treat me and how they will react to my husband." She looked at the floor. I lifted her chin up towards me.
"Are you ashamed of who you have become and the man you have married?" She shook her head. "Then you should not care whether or not they have positive or negative comments," I kissed her warmly. "I love you."
She sighed. "I love you too, Jacen." She looked down at her stump.
"Cover stumpie with your cape," I suggested. "You wouldn't want your mother to faint, or your grandmother."
"My Grandmother would most definately not faint." She laughed musically. I took her arm and guided her out of the borrowed vessel. Her parents were waiting for us.
"Tenel Ka! You've come back to Hapes!" Her mother, Queen Mother Teleniel Djo Chu'ume exclaimed with a smile. I shook hands with TK's father, Isolder Chu'ume.
"Greetings...?"
"Solo," I finished. "Jacen Solo." Isolder smiled.
"Leia's son. What a pleasure to meet you." Tenel ka took a deep breath.
"Mother...Father... you will be surprised to know that I now have yet another title added to my very long name." They both smiled.
"Other than Princess and Jedi Knight?" She nodded and took my hand.
"My full title is 'Princess Tenel Ka Djo Chu'ume Solo, Jedi Master; Guardian of the Peace."
Jacen Solo -----------------------------------------------------------------
"Your piloting skills are limited." I rolled my eyes at the remark.
"Is everyone convinced that if I pilot this ship they will all die?" I asked sarcasticly. They all looked at eachother and shrugged.
"Yup."
"Pretty much..."
"That sums it up."
"FINE! Krista you drive." I sulked mockingly.
"At this rate Yavin will reach US sooner than we will reach it." Kyp complained. Danni gave me a look that said; 'If-Krista-Doesn't-Step-On-It-Then-I-Will!'.
"I'm sure Anakin and Tahiri are fending for themselves quite decently." I assured them.
Zekk of Ennth -----------------------------------------------------------
"ACK! Anakin that's a laaaaaame place to hide, LOOK HARDER!" Tahiri squealed. just then Uncle Luke came into the room.
"You called?"
"Alema's going to take over the Galaxy starting with Yavin 4, we can't contact anyone beyond the planet, Veila is driving me banthas, and if we don't find a good hiding place soon, WE'LL ALL BE BLASTED INTO OBLIVION! Which will make me the worst babysitter ever...besides Anakin." Tahiri jabbered.
"You mean..." *explosion* The whole temple shook.
"She's here."

"Yavin 4 just disapeared, we're going to hafta navigate ourselves through the mines." Krista yelled, making me jump awake.
"What about Hapes? Corellia? Dantooine?" Jaina jumped up, concern for her brother's evident.
"Whadda ya think?" Krista drawled. "Sithspit! I wish Kiera was here." Jaina grinned.
"I've done something like this before, Lando had set up some game and I tried to beat Kyp's record without getting fried. This is similar." She took the controls from Krista who backed away.
"Uh... Jaina wasn't that in a TIE bomber?" I asked shakily. The mines looked impossible.
"She'll hold," Jaina said, determination in her tone. Krista plopped down in the seat besode mine. "She's got to."
"We're gonna die." I groaned.
Zekk Ennth _____________________________________________________________________________
"You married Leia's son! How marvelous!" I blinked, it was the reponse I had been hoping for. I smiled broadly.
"Yes, mother." Jacen squeezedmy hand. Then Father noticed my stump.
"Daughter! Your arm is...gone!" He gasped. I looked at the ground. I could have pretended 'Wha...? Where'd my arm go?', but that would have been deceitful.
"A price paid for my foolishness, but that is not why we are here. Hapes is under-" My mother gasped and pointed to the sky. Jacen grabbed me aorund the waist and my father's arm and force-leapt out of the way of a missile. My mother force-leapt after us.
"Apparently, she has already issued the attack." Jacen stated.
"Quick! Into the passage." My mother opened up a trap door and motioned for us to follow her.
"When did you get this installed?" I asked.
"Right after I married your mother she insisted we should have some more impressive defenses. Comes from being brought up on Dathomir." My father answered.
"There is a gunner on watch at all times." She smiled "We've been expecting an attack."
Tenel Ka Djo Chu`ume Solo ____________________________________________________________________________
I looked up in the sky and saw astroids, meteors and mines of all sized surrounding Yavin's atmosphere. I heard someone scream and then realized it was me. A Twi'lek and some Yuuzhan Vong leapt off of their table and stoof up, grinning menacingly. I dropped to a crouch behind my stall and my datapad beeped. I could barely hear it over the screams of the inncoent people being killed out. I had a message from Tahiri.
FROM: TAHIRI VEILA; JEDI KNIGHT TO: MIRI STARKILLER; JEDI KNIGHT
I cringed at the subtitle for my name, those days were long gone.
IT'S NOT TOO LATE! YAVIN 4 NEEEDS YOUR HELP, MIRI, AND YOU ARE IN A POSITION TO HELP. I HOPE YOU DIDN'T RID YOUR LIGHTSABER FROM YOUR POSSESSIONS, 'CAUSE YOU'RE GONNA NEED IT IF YOU WANT TO SAVE YOUR SKIN.
YUUZHAN VONG ARMOR IS WEAK BENEATH THE ARMPITS. LET THE FORCE FLOW THROUGH YOUR BODY AND IT WILL GUIDE YOU. I'LL BE DOWN A.S.A.P. TO HELP.
BEWARE OF ALEMA RAR!
MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU ALWAYS.
Tahiri Veila
Oh, right. I closed my eyes and reached out. There it was, eager for me to grasp it, use it, feel it. I let it flow through me willingly. It had been far too long. It was time to forget my past and fight for my future. I called my old ligthsaber to my hand and ignited it. The purple blade thrummed to life, and all my past lessons, missions and mistakes came flooding back into my mind. I let my horrible mistakes mock me, torment me, remind me, but I did not find anger in them, only a need to be forgiven by the person I had hurt.
But I didn't want to be forgiven by Alema Rar, I wanted to kill her. And now, my chance had come. I stood up and got in attack position. Alema and her crew of Vong watched me and Alema's face showed her recognition of who I was.
"Yes, it's been far too long." I said.
Far too long...

Tahiri typed rapidly onto her datapad then sent whatever it was that she has typed. "I'm going down to the market again. Miri's there, and she needs my help." I stood up. "Miri Starkiller?" I asked. "The one who left the Jedi Order because of Alema Rar?" Miri had gone to work incognito at the market many years ago, I'd prettty much forgetten her. "Yup. Alema and her thugs will probably gang up on her at any moment. I have to go help her. You stay here with Veila, hopefully I'll return with Miri." I grasped her elbow. "What if you don't return?" Tahiri's deep green eyes held my gaze steadily. "You have to return." I whispered shakily. She pulled me down into a sweet kiss. I wanted to never pull away for fear I might lose her. She gently loosened herself from me. "I'll be back soon," She said softly. I glanced over at my uncle, who was attempting to look preoccupied with keeping Veila on his lap. "Take care of Veila, OK?" Tahiri went over to the kid. "You be good, y'hear? I don't want to come back to see that you've misbehaved for Grandpa or Daddy, alright?" Uncle Luke looked startled at the 'Daddy' title. Veila nodded, her little blond curls bouncing. "Wes, Mommy." Uncle Luke's eyes widened comnsiderably at the 'Mommy'. How I dread the day I will have to explain everything. "See y'all." And at that Tahiri ran out of the room. I sighed and walked to the door to watch her retreating form grow smaller. I turned back, my uncle was watching me with a curious gaze. "'Mommy'?" He inquired. "'Daddy'? Care to explain something?" I felt my eyes widen. "Well, Veila's still working on her names, shouldn't you be out there fighting or something?" Mara entered the room as if on cue. "My sentiments exactly. C'mon, Luke, there's a ton of Vong butt to kick." Luke handed me Veila with one last quizzical glance. "Yes, mother," Then he left with his wife. Anakin Solo----------------------------------------------------------------- I felt...well... almost sick. Watching some kid (well, I shouldn't call her that cause she's only a bit younger than I,) navigate so well through all those astroids is impressive. Whoa! Most impressive. She evaded three meteors advancing towards us from all directions by stalling and kicking back into gear, all in three seconds. "The kid can fly," I muttered. Zekk's pale face turned sheet white as we evaded yet another volley of astroids. I wasn't worried all too much, Jaina was proving to be an exellent pilot. "You don't have much faith in Jaina's piloting skills, do you?" I asked Zekk, who shook his head. "N-not so much," He stammered. I smirked and leaned back in my chair to avoid battling the G-Forces. "I know it's hard to keep the faith sometimes, but c'mon she is your fiance," I remarked. He smiled shakily. "You weren't with her on-" "-Coming up on Yavin 4, keep your chit-chat to yourself, please, Zekk," Jaina interupted. "Or else you'll find yourself shooting out the escape pod like last time," Ahh... experience isn't always pleasant, as I like to say. "Prepare for a rough landing, everyone." "Oh, we're buckled," Zekk assured her shakily. Jaina suddenly stalled and extended the landing gear towards a meteor. The claws of the gear pulled it towards us, then Jaina retracted them and just as the meteor was about to ram us, she ignited the engines, sending us spiraling towards Yavin's forest floor and out of the astroid field. "The kid can fly," Krista Fett------------------------------------------------------------------- "You're saying Hapes was prepared for an attack all these years?" I asked, dumbfounded. Queen Mother Teleniel Djo Chu`ume laughed. "We are not as peaceful as we appear, my son-in-law," She stated. Tenel Ka strayed from my side to look at all the technology. "How does one operate such a system?" My wife finally asked. Prince Isolder smiled. "Only your sister has mastered the controls completely," Tenel ka has a sister? "Tennie!" I turned to see a young woman about Anakin's age grinning broadly in the doorway of the hidden fortress. She was wearing the traditional Hapan dress and looked about as happy as C-3PO in an oil bath. "Lola!" Tenel Ka shrieked and ran to her sister. They hugged over and over and began to speak rapidly. "Force! How'veyoubeen? It'ssogoodtoseeyou! Areyougoingtostay?" Tenel Ka tried to decipher her sister's ramblings before replying. "I'm fine! It's good to see you as well, sister. I am only here as long as I am needed. Obviously, Hapes is under attack," Lola looked past her sister to me. "Who is he?" She asked. Tenel Ka smiled and took my arm. "My husband," Lola gaped, I couldn't tell what at... maybe my good looks. Nope... "Your arm! It's gone!" "Yes, it is," "Does this mean you must forfeit the crown?" Lola asked. "I was going to forfeit anyways, I cannot forsake the cause of the jedi to become Queen Mother," Tenel Ks stated firmly. I wish I could have told them under better circumstances. My wife sent me as another bomb exploded and the screams grew louder. I doo, too, I teased. but what's done is done. Too true. "Let's kick some Vong butt," Tenel Ka said, to the dismay of her family, or at least her parents. Lola found it quite interesting to say. "Gladly," The occupation of Hapes has begun. Jacen Solo

There is no hatred...
Miri blocked another blow, somewhat shakily.
"What happened to the strong and fearless Miri Starkiller?" Alema taunted.
"She retired!" Miri gasped out, then continued her attack.
"Where is your confidence?"
"Where are your clothes?" Miri retorted, I grinned broadly and vaulted to join the fight. Alema leapt up to the top of a structure and laughed scornfully.
"Come closer, Jedi," She ignited the second blade of her double-bladed lightsaber. "And I'll stab you right through your noble intentions."
Team. I sent Miri, she nodded.
"Now!" She yelled, running forward then crouching suddenly. I ran behind her and when she stopped I jumped onto her back and force-leapt as she gave me an extra boost with the Force. I landed right behind Alema with just enough time to block two blows from both blades. Miri joined me shortly and we continued the battle.
Tahiri Veila _____________________________________________________________________________________
I stared at Veila, bored out of my brain, counting the explosions and how many times Veila laughed in a minute. The numbers were high on both accounts.
I should be out there helping them... helping her. I thought to myself, thinking wistfully of Tahiri.
"AUGH!" I finally yelled out of frustration, the only response I got was unhappy wails from an over-diapered baby.
Anakin Solo _____________________________________________________________________________________
We fell towards Yavin 4 so long I had to check to see if we were moving. Once we finally broke the atmosphere, I reversed the wing-span to where it slowed our decent down considerably. I calculated 20.58 seconds 'till touchdown when Danni gasped.
"What!?" I shoted crossly back at her.
"Tahiri and Miri are battling Alema, Luke and Mara are protecting the temple, and Anakin says he's watching Jaina Veila," She explained hastily.
"And you don't trust Anakin with your child?"
"I'm just remembering the last time, is all,"
"Whatever. Prepare for a bumpy landing," Long story short, we landed in a huge mud hole right beside the Jedi Temple.
"Okay, Kyp, Danni, you will both go into the temple and leave your child in the care of this 'Tionne' person so Anakin Solo can come out and fight. Jaina, Zekk and I will go find Alema's supply of voxyn, that's our primary target. Kyp, you, Danni and Anakin will meet Luke and Mara outside of the temple and assist them. Sounds like a plan?" We all nodded.
We had to fight.

"Master Solo," A young boy called up to me. "We have just recieved word that Nom Anor himelf is here." The kid tossed me a datafile with proof.
"Thank you," I turned to my wife. "You comin'?" She looked to her sister.
"Do you wish to come with us, sister?" Tenel Ka asked Lola.
"Oh, yes!" She turned excitedly to her parents. "May I?"
"Have you forgotten that you are the only one who can operate the defense system safely?" Her mother reminded Lola.
We have to go, Jacen. We do not have time to argue.
"Lola, we have to go, NOW. Come out when you can," I stated, dragging my wife behind me as I exited the hidden fortress.

Alema managed to knock Miri to the ground... all the way to the ground, all two stories, but not before Miri has chopped off one end of the 2nd blade emitted pitch black smoke. The end became jagged and Alema eyed it, pondering how she could use it to her advantage. I -instead of being attentive- cast a second glance to my fallen comrad. Miri Starkiller was getting to her feet slowly, a nasty bruise on her forehead. Upon seeing me, her expression changed from pain to horror. "Tahiri, look out!" I looked back to see the jagged end of Alema's crippled lightsaber sail towards my forehead. I used the Force to slow the weapon's advance (in vain) and turned my head away. It pierced my right eyebrow. Rar kicked me down the one story drop to the hard-packed ground. As my body attempted to slip into unconciousness, pain knawing at my body, Alema raised her comlink to her lips with a sardonic smile. "Bring in the voxyn." I looked up to the Jedi Temple, its shadow sheilding my eyes from the scorching sun. Jaina Solo was watching me, her eyes wide with unspeakable fear. Zekk of Ennth came up behind her and followed her gaze to my face. He gaped (possibly at my humungous wound) and started running towards me. Jaina began to accompany him when a voxyn ran from an unknown source into her path. I willed my body to stay as concious as possible and stood up. My head throbbed as uncontrollably and as painfully as possible. A voxyn noticed me and my obvious injuries and began to charge me. "Zekk!" I screamed, and ignited my lightsaber, raising it clumsily to a wobbily defense position. "Help me..." The voxyn pounced and pinned me to the ground. It was slow to ease its venom near my face, it seemed to be gloating at the ease of its victory. It must take after Alema. But it delayed killing me too long and was decapitated by Zekk. "Are you OK, Tahiri?" Zekk asked, his brow crinkled in worry for his best friend (me ). I nodded, but the motion made me wince. Zekk tucked a strand of my blond hair behind my left ear. "Let's get you to shelter," he started to pick me up. "Oh, wait, there is none." I looked over to Jaina, who was battling a ferocious voxyn. Suddenly, she let her guard down when she saw me and Zekk. She seemed relieved to see that we were both alive, and curious about Zekk's arm around my waist. He picked me up and started taking a detour to the Temple (the only 'shelter' we could think of), and Jaina smiled. In doing so, she decreased her guard even more. " Jaina!" Tahiri Veila____________________________________________________________________________________________ I helped Jaina Veila take her first few steps... when I could have been fighting. I finally changed the baby's diaper without giving her a rash... when I could have been defending the temple. I helped Veila build a stupid tower of holocubes... when I could have been protecting my finac`e. And now, racing down the temple halls, I can't help but think back: I had just placed the last holodcube on the demented tower when Danni Quee Durron entered the room at top speed. "We have a new threat, Anakin. Vo-" "Voxyn!" A terrified voice exclaimed. Oh, wait, that was me. "Tahiri?" I asked, concern for my future wife twisting my soul. Danni paled. "She-She's been wounded pretty badly," She stammered. "Krista wants you to come fight, now. I'll stay with Jaina Veila... where IS Veila?" I held her daughter up sheepishly in front of her. "WHAT HAPPENED!?!?!?!?!" Veila giggled and reached for her mother. Danni took her from me, giving me the death stare. I couldn't care less, the love of my life was in danger of dying. And now, as I'm running down these halls, my thoughts can only dwell on her and how lost I'd be if she'd met her demise. Anakin Solo__________________________________________________________________________________________ I escorted my husband out of the hidden fortress and gasped at the sight I beheld. Upon entering the fortress, buildings, gardens, houses, my palace and so many other things has been intact. Now they were almost all decimated. Bodies littered the streets, practically none of them were Yuuzhan Vong. The head Vong was shouting in victory, and his immense army agreed with him with one voice. Jacen put an arm around my shoulders and guided me into the shadows. "There are too many of them, Tennie." he whispered to me. I nodded in solemn agreement. "But who's to say that will stop us?" I stated. "We need to call in re-inforcements... and fast." Suddenly, a volley of plasma blasts erupted from unseen cannons, their target: the Yuuzhan Vong army. "Way to go, Lola," Jacen murmured under his breath. He turned to me. "Think we can take `em now?" He flashed me an adorable Solo-grin. I smiled and took his hand. Jacen squeezed it. "Whatever happens, stay by me, OK?" I nodded and raised my eyebrows quizically. He caressed my left cheek with his right palm. "I don't want to lose you." I grinned and kissed him warmly on the lips. "You won't." I assured him. "For the Jedi-" "-for Hapes-" "- and for insanity," Jacen grinned. Then we charged. Tenel Ka Djo Chu`ume Solo_____________________________________________________________________________________________ I saw Tahiri's horrified expression and Zekk screamed my name. " Jaina!" He exclaimed. "The voxyn!" I swiveled around to face my enemy. It was in the air, headed straight for me, and its poison was aimed towards my face. I screamed in fright and began to duck, knowing that it would be too late. Jaina Solo

I stopped fighting long enough to notice Tahiri Veila and Zekk. I'd heard of Tahiri before, always referenced to as 'The One Who Was Shaped' by my Yuuzhan Vong servants (who I am probably murdering right now, some boss I am. ). Her reputation proceeded her, so I was momentarily surprised when I saw her. Not every person who gets shaped comes out, er.., looking decent if you know what I mean. But this girl was gorgeous. Weird. Anyways, she looked so close to passing out or bleeding to death, I barely heard her exclamation. Krista is always telling me to have an open mind towards everything that is happening. Pushaw. If she were here, she'd be ashamed of the fact that I was even attempting to pass off as her. Unless of course, she already is. But then I heard Zekk yell Jaina's name and I reverted my attention to the eldest Solo kid. The voxyn she had been fighting was poised to strike. Without much thinking, (even though that's not uncommon), I closed the 20 meter gap between Jaina and I with a powerful Force-leap. Tah-dah! *trips* I calculated that Jaina would never turn around in time to fend off the beast. Time to save the day. Whoopee. Right then, I made the descision that would alter my life (literally) forever. I leapt once more, the same time as the voxyn, only ... a few milleseconds sooner. Jaina swiveled towards her opponet, seeing the menace that threatened her life, she trusted her instincts, and ducked. I knew it would be too late. Before bringing my body in front of Jaina's, I thought one last thing to my twin sister. May the Force be with you, Krista. Then the voxyn spat its poison, and opened its mouth. As I felt its poison splat against my stomach, I looked up to Zekk. He was running towards us. Tahiri was watching sadly, I closed my eyes and let the pain come. I felt my limbs being torn open (or off) and gave one last dying shout. The end has come. Kiera Fett
I watched Krista jump in front of Jaina sorrowfully. She could have become a great ally, and a good friend. Zekk ran to Jaina and helped her to her feet, tears were trickling down both of their cheeks as they held each other tightly. I figured Krista must have been an awesome person to get both Jaina Solo AND Zekk of Ennth to cry. Abruptly, out of nowhere, Miri Starkiller appeared and helped me to my feet. She was covered in blood (I didn't bother to ask), yet smiling broadly. "This blood isn't mine, T. It's Alema's," Oh, that's not too bad. I grinned along with her and she helped me sit on one of the temple's stairs. "I have to go now, will you be alright?" Well, let's see. A particular voxyn is giving me 'the eye', a ba-zillion Yuuzhan Vong are invading my home, and my boyfriend is NOWHERE to be seen. *sighs* I nodded. "Thanks, Miri," I sighed and leaned against the Temple staps. Fatigue hit me from all sides and exhaustion creeped its way through every limb of my body. As I slipped into unconciousness, I thought I heard someone scream my name. But then again, it could've been delusions of grandeur. Tahiri Veila
I kept my eyes on the lead Vong, determined to take him down. When he turned around, I recognized him, and a searing heat of anger surged throughout my body. It was Nom Anor. The disgusting Yuuzhan Vong who lead a major part in Anakin's defeat at Myrkr. "You!" I bellowed. Upon seeing me, he sneered. " Jeedai," Nom Anor raised his extremely long amphistaff in a mocking challenge. One I could resist. "Wait, Jacen! We shall attack him togeth-" "-No, Tennie. I want to do this," I interupted her. "But it is most unwise to do such a thing alone," she persisted. I realized my foolishness in ignoring my beloved wife. "Please, Jacen." She touched my arm softly. I covered her trembling hand with my own. "I'm sorry, my love. Do you want to attack together, or wait for him?" I asked teasingly. "We shall wait," Tenel Ka replied with a smile. "This shouldn't take long," I stated. And it didn't. Only when Nom Anor charged us did I notice my wife was breathing heavily and she was wounded. "Tenel, you-" Nom Anor knocked me down silently and Tenel Ka screamed and ignited her lightsaber, cutting off one end of the extensive amphistaff. The rest of the battle I won't record (it's too embarassing) but it involves getting my butt kicked. Eventually, I couldn't take the amount of blows and slipped into unconciousness. But before doing so, I felt a familiar presence diminish from the Force. I could only pray that it wasn't Tenel Ka. Jacen Solo
I tossed myself over my husband's limp form, praying for his life. Nom Anor snarled and brought up his amphistaff for the final blow... Princess Tenel Ka Djo Chu'ume Solo
I raced out of the fortress just in time to see my brother-in-law be struck down. I gasped, thrn covered my mouth in horror as my sister covered her husband's body with her own. Nom Anor raised his lethal weapon, and I decided (with difficulty) what I had to do. As the Vong spy brought his amphistaff down, I tackled him to the ground. I'm going to kill the Yuuzhan Vong, even if it costs me my life in the process. Princess Lola Djo Chu'ume

I raced to my fiance's side. She had slipped into unconciousness just as I had yelled her name. I looked around, then - satisfied that no one would notice - I picked her up and brought her into the Temple. "Tahiri? Come on, baby, gimme a sign." I whispered, stroking her hair. "The sun is NOT gold, it's yellow," Tahiri grumbled, then opened her eyes. I sighed. "My head hurts." Her pale blond hair was matted with blood and dirt. I scraped it away from her forehead and winced when she cried out in pain. "You're lucky she didn't decapitate you," I stroked the wound softly and tenderly, using the Force to attempt to close and heal the puncture. "The only thing decapitated in my experience was the voxyn that tried to use me as a couch," Tahiri stated under her breath. I glanced at her lovingly and she softened. "You really were worried, weren't you?" I smiled. "Of course I was. All the other battles we've been through, we were together. Remember them? I was always worried for you, and you thought it was because I didn't think you could handle yourself. Well, compared to how I felt a few moments ago, worried would be the smallest undertstatement in the entire history of mankind." Tahiri smiled and sat up slowly. "Shouldn't you be fighting?" She asked. I caressed her cheek with my palm. "Shouldn't you be resting?" I retorted kindly. "But if you WANT me to go..." "-No, stay ... please," Tahiri interjected. I eased her into my arms and kissed her neck, cheek and nose. "You couldn't get rid of me for the galaxy," I whispered tenderly. "Do you think the war will ever end? Do you sometimes wonder if the galaxy will ever know peace as it once did?" Tahiri sighed and looked up into my eyes. I touched her nose with mine. "If the Force wills it, it will happen," I lingered near her, wondering whether or not to give in and kiss her. Tahiri blew her breath out loudly in exhasperation (<-- I hate spelling). "Oh! Kiss me, you Dummy!" I grinned and obeyed. Anakin Solo
I walked sorrowfully over to Krista Fett's body and extracted her identification card. It made me perform a double take. The card read: __________________________________________ Name: Kiera Chrystaline FettAge: Twenty-five Weight: UnknownParent/Guardian: Boba Fett__________________________________________ Jaina walked up behind me. The battle had finally been won, at least, here on Yavin IV. "Krista's real name is Kiera," I handed her the I.D. She quickly skimmed it. Jaina smiled. "I'm not surprised." Zekk of Ennth A Couple Hours Earlier I felt a faint pain in my side. I looked down, but nothing was there. Suddenly, my whole body was wracked with almost unbearable pain. May the Force be with you, Krista. Then the pain diminished, as well as my twin sister's presence. In my shock, the only thing I could say was, "Kiera". And that's how my father found me in the morning, sitting on my bedroom floor, whispering my fallen sister's name. Krista Dierdre Fett [hl=blue]EPILOGUE[/hl] A Few Days LaterEventually, a victory was later gained on every planet. With their leader dead, the Yuuzhan Vong became vulnerable and much more weak. The war between the Yuuzhan Vong and the galaxy had finally come to an end. When Han and Leia returned from Dantooine (with a side trip to Corellia) they were shocked at all the happenings that had taken place (for remember, they had no idea of Jaina and Zekk's OR Anakin and Tahiri's engagements) and pleased as well. Jacen and Tenel Ka arrived from Hapes just in time for Jaina and Zekk's wedding. This next part takes place at the reception: Jacen and his wife made their way to the newly married couple. Jacen shook Zekk's hand. "I hope you give Jaina what she deserves, though I have no doubt that you will." He said. Zekk smiled and squeezed his new wife's hand warmly. "I will, don't worry," He laughed. Jaina blushed at her husband's loving tone and hugged Tenel Ka. "I was so sorry to hear about Lola, Tk," Jaina stated. For indeed, Lola, though she had succeeded in killing Nom Anor, had been murdered mercilessly by a possessed Vong warrior. Tenel Ka lowered her head sorrowfully. "With my sister's death, I am now the only heirr to Hapes' throne. I'm afraid I'll be forced to become Queen Mother," she said softly. Jacen slipped and arm around her waist. "Jaina!" Tahiri Veila exclaimed. She ran up and hugged her friend. "Congratulations! I swear, I was crying through the whole thing." "Don't let her fool you, sis. She was smirking and laughing so much, tears came to her eyes," Anakin Solo stated teasingly, coming up behind his fiance. ( A/N: Okay, so ... that's basically me, but who says I can't have some kicks at a boring wedding? I mean, it's not like I'M getting married. I've always had fun laughing at everyone's tears {why the heck do you cry at a wedding, I mean REALLY. 'Cept that one time I was the flower girl ... [face_thinking] ... anyways, back to the story.) Tahiri poked him in the ribs. "Did you hear about Kiera Fett's death?" Zekk asked Jacen. Jacen nodded. "I imagine Krista is pretty upset. How did Kiera die, anyhow?" He asked. Jaina and Tahiri swapped glances. "Here on Yavin 4. She was fighting alongside us," Tahiri said slowly. Jacen's eyes widened. "They were BOTH here!? What would I have given to see THAT!?" Anakin rolled his eyes and handed Jacen Kiera's I.D. card. "We found that on 'Krista' Fett's body. The girl you knew was really Kiera. She switched names with her twin." Jacen's mouth dropped. "Wow ... I never would've known..." Han walked up to his daughter and hugged her. "Take good care of 'er, y'hear, kid?" He said gruffly to Zekk. Zekk nodded and shook his father-in-law's hand. "Hey, Dad?" "Yes, Anakin?" "Wanna attend another wedding?" "Not particularly..." "Well, that's too bad," Anakin grinned and slipped an arm around Tahiri's shoulders. "Tahiri and I are getting married tomorrow." "Ugh." THE END
